#Joy.
#internationalteachers, #expats, take a moment and reflect.
Earlier today, I lived a joyful moment as I was asked to bring into my heart the picture of someone I cared for, who makes me smile and feel good. I witnessed the power of this picture, as warmth radiated from my heart, washing over my worries, relaxing me, telling me how lucky I was to have such a person in my life.
What brings you joy?
What makes you smile? How can you bring more of both in your life right now?
It is so easy to feel overwhelmed with all the negativity that this year has brought us, haven’t you had enough of the grey and heavy?
#christmas is 10 days away. Whether we can be with family or not is, at this stage, irrelevant. It is what it is because of circumstances out of our control. We might wish different of course. However what is in our control, we can act upon.
How about creating a tree of smiles?
Collect what is precious to you, brings joy into your life, and hang it on your tree so that you smile when you look upon it. Smile is a precious and powerful gift. Through zoom (or any other) you can share it with all the ones you can’t touch.
If you feel low on joy and smiles, #connect with me and let’s see how together we can bring tons of them back into your life.
