#internationalteachers, #expats, with Christmas around the corner and the pandemic tsunami, I feel a special connection with all of you who are like me away from family.
Undisturbed life goes on, the tide recedes, and we will be together again with our loved ones. So let’s cheer up and celebrate #LIFE#LOVE and bring #LAUGHTER to the forefront of our to-do list! How about watching some feel-good movies, sing along songs the whole family love and do crazy dancing moves, play games, go on long walks and marvel at nature around us?
I’d like to share with you my special #chocolatecake recipe. I got it from my friend Olivier 25 years ago. He used to bake it for the staff room every now and then, because he was genuinely nice and cared - values I believe in and share.
Very easy 5 mins prep:
-Put 200g dark choc (in squares) into a bowl. Add 200g butter in pieces. Microwave 2.5 mins. Stir to mix together.
-In another bowl put 4 eggs, 200g brown sugar, 100g flour. Mix it all together.
-Add the choc/butter to the egg /flour/sugar, mix well with a spoon, then pour into a ovenproof dish and bake for 30 mins at 180°C.
This cake will bring a smile on your face, warmth to your heart, and I am here if you feel it is all still too heavy, #connect with me
